Our Story
Meet the creative minds and loving hearts behind Give a Duck Books!
The story of how Jess and Andrew met is as serendipitous as it is charming. Andrew fell in love with one of Jess' good friends, and through their budding relationship, Jess and Andrew crossed paths. They quickly discovered a shared love for storytelling and a dedication to fostering meaningful connections. They also both had a lifelong dream to write children’s literature that was not only supportive for littles kids but also the big ones too!
Together, they envisioned a series of children's books that would entertain, educate and inspire. With Jess crafting messaging to foster deeper social - emotional learning and tools for healthy connection and Andrew bringing those tales to life with his vibrantly cute illustrations, Give a Duck Books was born.
They also thought the concept was cheeky, humourous and a light spin off of all too common typo that would make folks have a giggle.
